Up to 4 hours fire resistance can be provided by our FlameShield Fire Rated Roller Shutters. Designed to close in the event of a fire, and with the capacity to be linked into an alarm system or to a fusible link, they are prepared for a worst case scenario.
The steel shutters have been successfully tested to BS 476 part 22 at the Warrington Fire research centre and all electrically operated shutters are CE marked to comply with the Health and Safety Machinery at Work Directive.
Audio Visual Displays, Solenoid Release, a Quartzoid Bulb and a Controlled Descent Unit are additional safety options which can also be fitted to the FlameShield Fire rated Roller shutter. Another feature which can be applied is an Electrical Auto-Reset.
These shutters have assessed designs, which allow manufacture in sizes up to 7 metres x 7 metres. The galvanised steel curtains, side guides and coil casing, are available with black painted angles and end plates, or can be powder coated to any BS or RAL colour, in accordance with your aesthetic preference.
